Ypsicon has successfully installed a UV-Therm pasteurizer of pilot scale in Tagusvalley-InovLinea technology center.
UV-Therm pasteurization is a new technology that combines moderate thermal treatment with UV treatment. Due to the synergistic effects of thermal treatment and ultraviolet light, UV-Therm pasteurization allows important reductions of microbial counts applying temperatures lower than those used in conventional pasteurization, and it is thereby perfect for products very sensitive to thermal treatment, such as egg products, clarified juices, ingredients, aromas, hematic fluids, among others.
This new technology is commercialized by Ypsicon and it's protected by a patent in the world's main markets.
